To achieve radiant and clear skin, you don’t have to be born with the a specific type of gene. Here’s seven habits most women do in order to keep their skin feeling good. And now you can do them too!
Treat different zones in different ways.
Simply applying one face cream to the entire face does not actually work as well as you think. There are different zones on face that need different types of care. Its mainly the cheeks, t-zone and eyes that need different things. So adjust creams respectively.
Go all in on antioxidants.
A lot of women have stated that they use protective antioxidant enriched skin creams to prevent toxins from, say, cigarette smoke, exhaust fumes, UV and even stress, from damaging the skin and decreasing collagen. This post shows some alternatives for different serums.
Clean your face really thoroughly.
It doesn’t matter how much makeup you use, if you want to get clean and healthy skin, you need to thoroughly clean it every day! Morning and evening. Sleeping with the makeup on should be unthinkable!
When you’re exercising and sweating you actually cleanse toxins from your body. This also increases blood flow which leads to a more nourished and healthy looking skin.
But, be sure to not wait too long before you wash your face once you’ve finished exercising, as the sweat clogs the pores.
Drink plenty of water and eat with common sense.
Use your common sense. Eating a lot of vegetables, fruits, nuts and fish can help you achieve radiant skin. And don’t forget to drink plenty of water to keep you hydrated.
When you use exfoliating products you remove the dead skin cells and gives you a healthy glow. If you have oily skin or suffer from acne, it can help to exfoliate often. However for sensitive skin you should keep a calmer routine. Regardless, its always good to “shed a little” once in a while.
Use makeup suited for your needs.
Pick your makeup based on your needs. If you have an oily face or suffer from acne, look for one that doesn’t clog your pores. But if you have dry skin you should opt for one with moisturizing abilities.
